Wow, New York Sure Looks A Lot Like Toronto…

7:30 p.m. — Downtown Toronto. Yeah … f’n TORONTO!
11 hours at the airport.
2 cancelled flights to New York.
1 very, very, VERY sad J.E. Skeets.
Honestly, I’m lost for words. (Extremely rare.) I can’t believe the opportunity I just missed out on, all because of some piss poor Eastern Seaboard weather. Sigh x a million…
Now, if you’ll kindly excuse me, I’ve got myself a Mother Nature to go rape.
Update: 8:37 p.m. — The Living Room
OK, I’ve settled down a bit and no one got hurt. (It was consensual, I swear.) Anyway, I’ve decided I’m gonna try and do this all over again tomorrow. 6:30 a.m. flight. Keep ‘dem fingers crossed. Night.

Oh shit! That sucks man, sorry to hear it! And global warming strikes another victim…Don’t worry, something good will come out of it.
You’ll make it there, I just know it.
Good luck, Skeets.
Good Luck Skeets!
I know you’ll make it and I can’t wait to see your coverage.
I would say just get completely shitfaced right when you get to the airport…but if something goes wrong and you don’t make it to New York, I don’t want see something on CNN like “blogger goes crazy in Canadian airport.” Although I’m sure it’d be some good press for TheBasketballJones.net…ESPN and CNN in one week’s time. Think of the possiblities.
I’m pulling for you skeets. I’ll do my part and bust out some reverse raindancing tonight, till, say, around 3 am.
Cheer up….I’m gonna send you some Cristal.
This is just going to make the final product better — we’ll get “F’n tired, been up since 4am, now quite a bit slap happy, decorum what?” Skeets talking to players on the most important day of their life, asking questions like: “Reddick, what’s this whole golden shower thing aboot, eh?”
No way you can’t make it Skeets. It’s destiny- your meant to be there. I have no doubt.
Pulling for you all the way bro.
Blog Coverage of the NBA Draft…
“You’re a Warriors fan. Your team has missed the playoffs for 12 straight years. Draft night is the highlight of your season.”
As most of you are well aware, the 2006 NBA Draft will be held tomorrow night. For many fans, this is the most optimis…
it’s not like it’s a big night for you or the raptors…so who cares
except for jamie…he misses you
I think Matt’s comment was the funniest thing I’ve read all day… but it’s early. And it barely beat out that thing Skeets said about raping Mother Nature. Still very funny nonetheless.
And yes, Unsilent, I miss my Skeets. But I just talked to him and he’s in NY. Off we go to AOL for a bit and then to MSG. Stay tuned to TBJ…
