Tell Memo to put his arm back on.
The Basketball Jones ‘The Fix’ — Episode 154 (.mp3)
On today’s show, Bruce Willis and I discuss: Okur’s shooting woes; why the now eliminated Wizards should actually be tied 2-2, if the Mavs have any chance at winning three straight against the Warriors; and much, much more…

Link on the right side for the podcasts is wrong. The one for todays (154) actually goes to Friday’s (153). As in there are links to 153 twice, and zero to 154. Just thought I’d give you kids a heads up.
SO glad to know that you two (three counting JD?) are back in action. A little consolation considering how badly the Raps are playing right now.
Thanks for the heads up, Alex. Ep. 154 link fixed.
Woof. Went to the Wiz game last night and toward the end of the 4th kept thinking to myself “This is the point where Gil would make a ridiculous shot…”
dudes, see you there tonight, gonna break my playoff cherry. 117 in the heezy
Sec. 117? Jeez, got ourselves a bit of a high-roller here…
Enjoy the game/experience, Juan. We’re going to will this fucking team to Game 6 whether they like it or not!
do you mean for it to sound like “Whore-y”? or is that just a Canadia thing, like spelling defense “defence”? either way, I think I love it.
(figured I better throw this comment up now in case Nets fans are banned from the site in the near future….)
You spelled “Canada” wrong. ;)
When is the last time that none of the MVP, Coach of the year or Defensive player of the year made it to the second round of the playoffs?
Although, Tas, I haven’t written off Dirk and the Mavs yet either.
(Response to the podcast)
This is the first time the Warriors have faced adversity??? Are you on crack?
This team has had 40 losses in the regular season, 13 years of craptastic playoffless basketball and always played teams that have a size advantage on them. Is that not adversity? The better question is when haven’t the Warriors faced adversity. I’d like to know when that period was.
Beau,
I may have used the word adversity in the wrong context. What I meant was, the Warriors haven’t had pressure on them since the beginning of the year when there were high expectations of them, and they folded. They had nothing to lose when they made their run at the end of the season. They’ve never been the big dog.
They’ve never been the big dog.
How did you NOT link to this, Tas?
Can-a-da?
I was astounded. Astounded, I say, at the size of that mastiff, until I saw that photo was a
hoax.
