‘Cast News: Pre-Draft Show Drops The Day After Wednesday

samaki_draftProgramming note: Our draft show which was to hit iTunes and computers everywhere on Wednesday will now be heard on Thursday. We’ll try and get it up as early as possible. JD’s place was booked by Tina Turner’s crew. Both Tina and TBJ apologize.

So, Tas and I will be back in the “booth” — aka JD’s boudoir — Thursday to record a very special pre-draft podcast with guest Dan Shanoff.

Shanoff is a bit of a self proclaimed NBA Draft nut, which is good news for you because Tas and I know oh, dick shit about college ball. (Um, can someone draft Julius Hodges again!?!?)

So, yeah, if you have any questions or comments for our main man Dan, please get ‘em in. There’s a 68% chance we’ll use one of your calls and/or e-mails. Solid odds.

OK, that’s it. Embrace it, people.

    Question: which teams are most likely to make a deal on draft night, and who do you think they’ll try and acquire? Seems like a pick from this year’s draft is one worth keeping, but you never know.

    I reckon (hope) there will be a heap of deals… Boston the most likely (#5) to make a deal high up.

    I’m a Blazers man, and I’m actually hoping they take Durant at #1. Kevin Pritchard is not afraid to make the unpopular decision.

    i just noticed on hoopshype.com in their team salaries section that the bobcats have nobody on contract in two seasons. and will be 52 million dollars under the cap. i just think thats weird. GO CATS!
