1. J.R. Smith needs to raise his game. Via Dime: “With ‘Melo, Iverson, Nene and K-Mart among those sitting out for a short-handed Denver squad in last night’s game against Detroit, J.R. got about 25 minutes of burn with which to help or hurt his trade value. (The illustrious trio of Von Wafer, Anthony Roberson and Bobby Jones each got more PT than Smith). When he was on the floor, J.R. shot 4-for-14, turned the ball over 4 times, and fouled out.” [Dime]

J.R. is on thin ice in D-town. Karl is hot on these other guys, and all J.R. can do is find ways to lock horns with him. The other guys,(LK, Nila, and even Roberson), have also looked really strong.
I nominate “Skeets’ Magic Johnson” for the fantasy hoops team
Ha! +1 Sarge.
I’m going with ‘Sniffin’ Turkoglu’ this year, as I might not get away with ‘Twat Garrity’ again.
Bitch, I expect to see a glut of Isaiah-themed ones this year, bitch.
Flint Michigan Tropics (the team name of Will Ferrell’s new ABA movie) is a sleeper because no one will get it until the movie debuts in February and then you’ll look like a genius.
and my personal favorite,
Oklahoma City Bombers
…too soon?
