Alright Tas, I’m taking your advice and keeping D-Wade. I also just picked up Sean Williams, I’m pretty freakin desperate for boards.

    Great show as always

If you’d like a completely different take on the Knicks situation (and by “different” I feel like I mean “completely out of touch with reality”) check out the Simmons podcast with Gus Johnson today. I’m absolutely thrown by it thus far…

Wow, you know that Gus is a paid parrot for MSG whose job consists of making the Knicks sound good so I expected nothing else from Uncle Gus but shining massah’s shoes.
But have anyone’s balls shrunk over the past year as much as Simmons did? One meeting with Isiah and he is willing to forget the long list of Thomas fiascos which are unparalleled in any sports in a 4 year period.
BS loses all right to criticize other media people for being bias for the way he has turned 180 degrees on the topic.
I guess all people who are picked on constantly by BS have to do is suck up to him. Which means Simmons is no different from any other newspaper columnist.

This was so bad, if Gus had told BS that NY was going to the Finals, I could have pictured him saying “Yeah, yeah…”

Uncle Gus really laid it on thick with the ‘life was hard’ to explain the lunatic that is Marbury. Tons of great soccer players come from the slums of Rio or immense poverty in africa and are centered human beings. That is an excuse for white man’s guilt.

By the time Uncle Gus was finished, the spineless BS was ready to say that Marbury would be different on his next stop.

Only thing worse than this drivel is listening to Chad Ford talking to GMs who dont want to say a thing against their or other teams.

But even as boring and vanilla as Ford is, no one is as big a gelding than Simmons showed himself to be.
The Gus Johnson fiasco is really his defining moment on air.
Bending over for Isiah will be his Chappaquiddick.
