GOLDEN STATE [-4] over Houston
I’m taking the Warriors over the Rockets (the line is 4 favoring, from what I’m looking at). I know it’s mean to kick them while they’re down, but Houston’s offense has been pretty abysmal of late. I’m counting on the Warriors to run away with this one, punch Tracy McGrady in the back, and there may even be a few Stephen Jackson gunshots. Some people might say that these Rockets are equipped to run small and still rebound well, but I think they’re probably equipped to get torched by Baron Davis and lack a solid inside presence.

UTAH [-6] over LA Lakers
The Lake Show is on the final game of a four-game road trip, they’ve already lost to NOLA and Houston on the trip and barely beat Dallas, and now they’re facing the best home team in the league — without Pau Gasol. The Jazz may have Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur at less than full strength, but that won’t matter in the SLC. Jazz win big. Book it.

Portland is a solid home team, but the Suns have won four straight and are finally figuring out how to use Shaq (as in their win over the Kings), or not use him (against the Warriors). Either way, they’ve got more than enough firepower to take the Blazers. Book it.
