TBJ On GearCrave

Hello, party people. Unfortunately, we won’t have a show until Wednesday’s Award extravaganza because of JD’s impending little one, but in the meantime, you can take a read of an interview Skeets and I did over at GearCrave.com. GearCrave is “The Ultimate Buyer’s Guide for Men who love stuff”. Set aside some serious time if you visit the site. You’ll salivate, learn, but mostly, cry.

    Hey guys
did u here about Ben Gordon’s call upto the British Basketball Squad? Is he a big miss for the American National squad, or will he be in the future?
This got me thinking why are there so few British players in the NBA? Luol Deng isn’t even British, hes from Sudan, why do we pretend he is? Michael Olowokandi is from Nigeria, and Kelenna Azubuike was born in Britain but he can’t play for us because of Citizenship issues. Ben Gordon was born in London but if you asked him he’d probably say he’s American.

    Love the show guys.
    Ciao

Isn’t Magnolia like a 5 hour movie T? Why didnt you mention Golden Compass? You’re a real joker as well. The Suns winning it?

    >This got me thinking why are there so few British >players in the NBA?

Maybe because Britain has zero basketball culture?
Out of about of lets’ say, 30 euro countries, I would say that its below 28. And Im being generous.

I might add the same for volleyball, handball, waterpolo and the other big world sports. I withold comment on british national team soccer failures but I hear they have a league at least :-)

British basketball = jamaican ice hockey.
