LA LAKERS [-8.5] over Denver

Perhaps this is the start of something magical here in la la land, but two things are known for sure: the Lakers’ offense is brutally efficient and Denver’s “defense” is not so efficient. I do not expect Kobe to miss 18 - 20 foot jumpers as often as he did in Game 1, and I expect the Lakers bench, arguably the deepest, to bounce back and live up to the “bench mob” name. It’s a sad day for Denver when people like me would rather pick against them rather than against Atlanta. Incidentally, I like the Hawks to cover, although I’m going to with this safer pick.
