  9. Ramiro at 12:16 pm on 05.09.2008

the best part, I have to say, is the extreme polar opposite in music choices from scala-brizzle’s “Fuck LeBron Up” track to the mellow sounds of rock flute of Canned Heat with “Goin Up The Country”. nicely done chaps, nicely done.

  10. McSwollenvich at 12:21 pm on 05.09.2008

    Turn my headphones up! WHAT!!

  16. BMatthews at 1:15 pm on 05.09.2008

Scal is BY FAR the most loved Celtic on the team (i’ll give you three guesses why. and the first two don’t count)

That was the most amazing rap of all time. I almost pissed myself when I heard “suck on your boobie. GIBSON!”

  17. Radja9697 at 1:17 pm on 05.09.2008

5 mics…i just played this for my whole office in boston

i’d love to hear a full verse from pollard on the remix.

  24. chris at 1:48 pm on 05.09.2008

the OFFICIAL BRIAN SCALABRINE WORSHIP THREAD @ boston’s lemmingtrail.com (1773+ replies) is now aware of this epic piece of scal history. will cleveland literally fall into rubble under this track’s big baby-esque weight? likely, yes. nothing will be lost.

also for anyone who is wondering, the pharoahe monch sample was legal because scal married the rapper and his wife, mrs. deborah monch, three years ago in a tender and quiet ceremony in the u.s. virgin islands. news reports from 2005 said that scal’s wife was also there. she catered chicken.

  25. mattb at 1:48 pm on 05.09.2008

    I just wanna SCALABRATE!

  26. chris at 1:49 pm on 05.09.2008

    You’re the shit fellas.

  37. J.E. Skeets at 6:18 pm on 05.09.2008

    “Death of kiss …”

What the hell does that even mean? Weak, Scal.

  38. Will at 7:27 pm on 05.09.2008

“Five fouls on your face and one on your soul”

I’ll just add another worthless post about how awesome that was. Not only was it the hardest I’ve laughed all day, but maybe in weeks. The problem is now you’ve set a precedent…next year I’m banking on Chase Budinger putting out a Deron Williams diss track, so Tas should get started working on that voice. I’m not sure how he’d sound, but based on how he looks it’d be a cross between ODB and the guy from Napoleon Dynamite.

I wish they’d show us Doris more so we’d remember that she’s good lookin and not a 45 year old dyke. But you guys are right, she is better than the Czar and ESPECIALLY Reggie Miller. He’s driving me insane.

Also, big ups for JD for the specials to end it up. You should’ve let the t-bone solo breath.

  39. christopher at 10:36 pm on 05.09.2008

    THAT WAS FREAKING AMAZING…..

    SUCK ON YO BOOBIE…..GIBSON….

  45. Lebron's boy at 12:01 pm on 05.10.2008

WHAT?!? what is this rap?? Where is the class in the nba? Brian Scalabrine? What a joke. Polard rode lebron all last year. He lead the cheers last year when Lebron scored 25 straight on Detroit to go to the finals. This is a joke. Anyone who endorses this needs to let go of any alliance to their team and think about this. Brian Scalabrine trying to shut down Lebron and Jay-Z. Unnecessary

  46. RYNO at 10:52 pm on 05.11.2008

Skeets used to be a member of the beastie boys. Great flow! Very impressive.

  47. Daddio at 9:24 am on 05.13.2008

I hear you, Lebron’s boy. Scal rap funny, but the precedent set by he and Stephenson is lame and somewhat disturbing. These guys are the nba-pop-culture equivalents of suicide bombers - very expendable invididuals willing to sacrifice themselves in order to inflict damage. Perhaps they view themselves as “verbal enforcers” - doing the verbal dirty-work for their teams’ stars. I pray for Scal to return to the court just to see him cowering under a Lebron justice jam!
