    I watched most of the 2nd and 3rd Qs of Hornets/Spurs after work last night at a soundless bar with my boss, a late 40s dude who barely watches today’s league, preferring instead to regale me with stories about “Pearl,” “Ice” and (if he’s feeling spry) “The Microwave.”

    He took one look at Chris Paul and said words to the effect of, “Holy shit — have I really been missing this?”

    All I could do was feel glad that, for the past few months I haven’t been missing it — thanks largely to you Jonesmen.

    Detroit won the series against Orlando, with D-E-F-E-N-S-E… look up ‘defense’ in the dictionary today and you’ll see Tayshaun’s block of Turkoglu’s dunk attempt to seal the win. Prince is the MVP of the Playoffs so far for the PIstons.

    HOW HOT are the flames at Detroit games? They are so hot that they render Skeets a stammering doofus :)
