The People’s Playoff Book It: Patrick – Day 1

Playoff time! The Basketball Jones is giving away a pair of Adidas basketball shoes to the person who can put together the longest streak of picks during the postseason. Detroit [+4.5] over BOSTON (home team in CAPS)

Of course DET will win. They have won on the road before and they will do it again. Their defense won’t collapse at the end like in game 1. DET lacks the kill shot at times, but they seem to know when to bring out the axe. Boston goes down because they do not seem ready to compete with the top teams in the playoffs. They play to the level of their opponents, thus giving teams a chance to win.
