The People’s Playoff Book It: IE – Day 2

Playoff time! The Basketball Jones is giving away a pair of Adidas basketball shoes to the person who can put together the longest streak of picks during the postseason. If you’d like to give it a shot, email us. Once a wrong pick is made, we’ll email the next contestant. The best streak, shared by three, is three! IE, looking for 2:

BOSTON [-6] over Detroit (home team in CAPS)

We all know how good the Celts are at home, and if you think they’re not gonna come out fired up after getting worked in Detroit, think again. Despite Detroit being the only team to beat Boston at home this postseason, they have a bad habit of not showing up after big wins. Boston easily covers the spread.

[IE’s Streak: 1 | Longest Streak: 3 (Three-Way Tie) | Mood: Chilllllin’ | Food: Mamoun’s Falaffel]

This series is so underrated. Boston’s performance was one of the most complete team efforts I’ve seen thus far. Rondo had 13 asts., Pierce 16, KG 33, Jesus 29, and Kendrick 18 and 16 (Whoaa Boyy). Detroit gave it a hell of a run in the fourth too. Why are so many people turning their heads West? This series has been competitive, back-and-forth action. The Eastern Conference Finals is where amazing happens.
