No Show, No Rodents
Hey folks, unfortunately there will not be a show today. When I found out we weren’t doing one this morning, I was so angry, I went out, climbed some trees, and fought every squirrel I could find. Man, I hate those things. We apologize for the couple hiccups lately. Try and hang in with us for the stretch run; we’ll be back tomorrow.
TBJ On GearCrave

Hello, party people. Unfortunately, we won’t have a show until Wednesday’s Award extravaganza because of JD’s impending little one, but in the meantime, you can take a read of an interview Skeets and I did over at GearCrave.com. GearCrave is “The Ultimate Buyer’s Guide for Men who love stuff”. Set aside some serious time if you visit the site. You’ll salivate, learn, but mostly, cry.

Comments (5)Watch Tas Melas On ‘Full Court Press’

While we patiently wait for the Nielsen ratings to come out, jump over to Raptors.com to watch a super-short version of ‘Full Court Press’ starring The Basketball Jones very own Tas(sos) Melas. Be careful though … that collar will getcha!
(Great work, Tas.)
Update: Here’s the direct link.
Comments (47)No Show Jones
This just in: The Basketball Jones will not be podcasting today, Tuesday, March 4th due to issues involving wild bears. We’re sorry but we will be back tomorrow. The People’s Book It! will continue this evening.
Instead, check out the vid below. Who knew ball claws could be cool?
No Podcast?! Nooo!

We’re sorry peoples. There will not be 20 minutes of roundball chatter today. JD’s donkey ate his podcast machine. No, but seriously, we wanted to get back on the air this morning to chat about Skeets’ escapades in N’awlins, etcetera, but stuff comes up when you’re a 3 man operation with plenty of other things on the go. Please enjoy some links for the next 24 hours as a symbol of our gratitude. Come back tomorrow, and remember, don’t take your buddy to the airport, if he’s using his girlfriend’s luggage.

No Show On Fat Day
No podcast today people. Please accept our apologies, but I don’t think I’d be able to do one today anyways. Today is “Fat Day.” There is no moving on this day, it’s just sit around and be fat day. Too much Super Bowl chile and beer and chips and wings and corn and, you name it. I’m not alone, there are plenty of stats to prove it. John Hollinger would be proud. In the mean time, please check out Mr.Skeets over at Yahoo!

Comments (8)We Don’t Have A Show … But We’ve Got Espo!
Unfortunately, because of a number of ailments: Skeets (left hip), JD (gout), Melas (bloating), we will not have a show today.
Instead, I give you the jersey that represents the first European movement in Raptor history, Vincenzo Esposito. This jersey, like this man, are one of a kind. The pic of this Italian fan (obviously) was taken in the Dominican Republic. Espo’s career spanned a whopping 30 NBA games.
